Monthly Review

November reflection

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the second-last monthly reflection of 2021! I can’t believe that the year is almost over. It’s so crazy. Let’s see how I did in November.

Salary + Travel allowance: € 1.821,74

Health care Insurance: €56

Dividend: € 2,23

Total: € 1.879,97

To be honest, I wasn’t really excited about the dividends that I received in November. In the second month of the quarter, I always receive the lowest dividends. This is not ok, because my birthday is in the second month of one of the quarters (August). Next year, I want to receive at least €5 in my birthday month. So we will definitely be working on that.

Now let’s take a look at my emergency fund. As you can see I am almost there. I only got 5% left to save. I can’t wait until the circle is fully green. For the first time, I feel excited about my emergency fund. My emergency fund is now worth 11 months of expenses. Almost 12 months actually. I only need €120 to hit 12 months, but I rounded it up to €6.000 to have a nicer number.

Now I got some more exciting news. I hit another goal in November. I really didn’t think it would happen in November. I wasn’t even sure if it would even happen this year. But I am so happy to announce to you that I got a €20.000 networth! I can’t believe it, 20K. It’s insane, considering that I am not a high-income earner. I am so proud of myself.

Let’s take a look at how I spent my money this month. Honestly, I don’t have a lot to say about it. I think it the diagram speaks for itself.

This is it for the month of November. I’m so excited to for December. I’m so excited to wrap it up and see what I actually achieved this year. In December I will receive my last paycheck of the year. In December I will find out if I will finally get my first raise. In December I will be able to say that I have been blogging for a full year.

As you can tell, I am really excited about December and I didn’t even mention that it’s my favorite month. I love Christmas so much.

This is it for today. Thank you for your precious time and until next time!

  1. Who doesn’t love Christmas?! It’s my favorite time of the year, plus I have a birthday in December (tomorrow) too!! So I take it that your expenditure is going to increase in December because you’re excited about Christmas?
