Welcome to another monthly reflection. Today we are reflecting on the Month of October.
Let’s get right into it.
My income in October:
Salary + Travel allowance: € 1.848,04
Healthcare allowance: €56
In October I reached a new dividend record. I’m really excited about that. Not only did I hit a new record, but I also reached my goal of receiving €12 in dividends this year. It’s so crazy that half of the money only came from 1 month. I’m excited to see what my total dividend income will be at the end of this year.
I thought it would be fun to see which bills I could actually pay with my dividend income. As you can see I can pay my bank costs in full. My next goal is to be able to pay for my Netflix subscription. Of course, I am not really going to use my dividends to pay for it. I actually don’t even know when I am going to use my dividends yet.
Let’s take a look at my emergency fund.
As you can see in the diagram below I saved €5300 in my emergency fund. This is almost 11 full months of expenses, while still living at home. I can’t wait to hit this goal.
Finally, I want to show you how I spend my money in October. I didn’t spend too much money. At the end of the month, I was left with €140, which I put towards my savings. It was nice to have more than €100 left at the end of the month. I feel like that hasn’t happened since the summer. As you can see I saved 46% of my income. Which is great.
That’s it for the month of October. Thank you for your precious time and until next time!
