Hello everyone!
Welcome back to another monthly reflection. Today I am reflecting on the month of September.
I was really hesitant about reviewing this month since nothing exciting happened this month and because I am doing a 9-month review next week. However, I decided to do it anyway because I just can’t miss a month and we can’t expect every single month to be excited.
Let start with my income for the month of September:
Salary + Travel allowance: € 1.849,98
Healthcare allowance: € 56,00
Dividend: € 2,99
Total: € 1.908,97
I am happy to see my dividend payments grow every single month. It’s not a lot, but every little bit counts especially since I am reinvesting my dividends. I am really excited for October because I will be hitting a new dividend record.
Of course, I am still working on my emergency fund. As you can see in the diagram below I have saved €4.930 in my emergency fund, which means that I saved 10 full months’ worth of expenses. Only 2 more months to go. I can’t wait until I hit that €6.000 goal.
In September I did spend quite some money. My friends and I spent a fun day together. First, we went to a VR escape room, then we went to an Indian restaurant and we ended the night with some drinks. I spent about €70 on that day. I didn’t mind because we don’t see each other that often and they are the best friends a person could wish for.
I also bought some books, hair products, and a turtle neck, which cost me some money. Even though I spent all this money, I still stayed within my budget.
At the end of the month, I was left with about €40 which went towards my savings.
The diagram below shows how I spent my money in September. I really love how half of my salary is going towards myself. I am really going to miss that when I will be living on my own next year.
That’s it for September. As I mentioned before, next week I will do a 9-month review, which I am really excited about, because we will be able to tell whether I am going to reach my goals or not. So, stay tuned for that!
This is all I have for today. Thank you for your precious time and until next time!
Love,

If only I had a dividend fund growing somewhere and pigs could fly! Could we trade bills?
