Hello everyone!
Welcome back to my blog! How are you doing? I hope you are doing well. I just got back from my vacation in Spain on Thursday, so I am feeling amazing. Next week I will post a blog where I will talk about how much this trip actually cost me.
Today we will be reflecting on the month of July. I can’t believe how fast July flew by.
Let’s see what happened in July.
My income for the month of July looked like this:
- Salary: €1834,29
- Healthcare allowance: €56
- Dividends: €3,59
In my salary, my travel allowance is included. I started going to the office again. I was only going once a week. Now that I am vaccinated I will start going twice a week and after that, I will see what I am going to do.
As you can see I received €3,59 in dividends. This is the most I have received so far, so this was really exciting for me.
My main goal for this year is to save €6.000 in my emergency fund. This month I saved €460. My new total is €4.010, which means I saved two-third of my goal. This is 8 full months’ worth of expenses.
On the last day of July, I discovered something really exciting. I hit a new milestone. My net worth is now €15K. I am so excited! I feel like it took me forever to hit this goal. One of my goals for this year is to hit a net worth of €20K. I can’t wait to see if I will actually hit this goal at the end of this year.
At the end of the month, I was left with €166,25. I put €100 in my savings for my next vacation. €60 went to my brokerage account. €6,25 went to my “back up money” sinking fund.
In the diagram below you can see how I spend my money in July:
I am pretty satisfied with my results for this month. Like I mentioned earlier, I went on vacation, so there was a full week of me not spending my budget. I have to say that I used some money from my budget to prepare for my vacation. And when I came back, I spend a weekend with my boyfriend, and I did spend some good money. I am happy that I was left with some money at the end of the month.
I feel like I say this every month, but August will be an exciting month for me because on the 6th I will be turning 25 years old. I can’t believe that I will be 25 years old. That’s so crazy.
But I think 25 is a really beautiful age and I can’t wait to see what more I will learn at that age.
This is all I have for today. This is my last blog post as a 24 years old woman. Thank you for your precious time and I will see you next time.
Love,
